Quality is paramount to me, and it all begins with using high-quality source materials. I strive to incorporate sustainably sourced, organic fiber and yarn into my products whenever possible. I believe that natural fibers contribute positively to our well-being and health. In a world that often favors fast fashion and cheap, disposable items devoid of meaning and value, I have chosen to take a different approach by being committed to high quality, durability, and sustainability, thus bringing significance and value with real products back into our lives.

My product descriptions always detail the materials used and specify whether they were hand-spun or grown by me.

Tools I Utilize

When crafting my products, I exclusively use non-industrial tools—no knitting machines or computerized looms! Instead, I rely on:

  • Nitting needles or crochet hooks
  • My 8 Shaft Floor Loom
  • Drop Spindles
  • Spinning wheel
  • Netting & Naalbinding needles

Crafting & Production

Every item I create and sell is handmade by me right here in Texas! Many sellers who claim their products are "handmade" often outsource their production to other countries, relying on cheap labor and having entire teams weaving or knitting for them. Clearly, not all handmade is equal.

How can you spot the difference?

  • Labor-intensive items are often priced significantly lower than they should be.
  • They typically do not disclose their production location.
  • Some more transparent sellers do provide the country of origin.
